All-State linebacker and MSU commit Max Bullough had an enormous game leading his team, Traverse City St. Francis, to its second consecutive state championship Saturday morning at Ford Field in Detroit.
Bullough had 11 tackles and an interception on defense and had a touchdown catch on offense in the 42-8 rout of Hudson. St. Francis never trailed this season and Saturday’s state championship win was its 26th straight victory.
Bullough is listed as a four-star linebacker, according to the recruiting Web site Rivals.com. He also was named Associated Press Division 7-8 Player of the Year for the state of Michigan.
A two-time AP All-State pick, Bullough had 137 tackles and seven touchdown catches this season.
He plans to graduate from high school in January so he can enroll at MSU early.

Great young man and incredible athlete. He, as every single Dantonio recruit and member of the Spartan family, will have the opportunity to shine and be a leader.
Max is very special and I have no doubt that he will bring a lot of individual and team success to MSU.
VICTORY FOR MSU!!!

If not for his history……..ghe should have gone to ‘BAMA with a great coach that could maximize his abilities. He’ll suffer on a Dantonio squad. MD will try to convert him to an FB so he can block. Wait and see what happens to this kid..it’ll be sad and a waste of talent. MD, like Bobby Williams, doesn’t know what to do with talent so he abdicates to his assistants who know less than he does…as he trots along to the bank to cash his check.
MD really must Go!
Ok, koolaid drinkers, bash away!
