$25K vehicle receives 2 dents, loses value during apparent hit-and-run

A 38-year-old Lansing woman who was visiting a friend Thursday in Holmes Hall returned to her 2009 Jeep Patriot to find two dents to the front fender, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The vehicle, valued at $25,000, was parked from 9 p.m. to 9:39 p.m. in the West Holmes Hall loop, McGlothian-Taylor said. The value of damage, which appeared to be caused by a blunt object, was not known.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
