Singh set to speak at union ballroom
By Ian Johnson (Last updated: 11/02/09 9:45pm)Former East Lansing Mayor and MSU alumnus Sam Singh will speak at 6 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Union Ballroom as part of the lecture “Community Service: Strengthening Humanity Locally and Globally.”
The event, which is sponsored by St. John Student Center, 327 M.A.C. Ave., is free to the public.
Since his tenure as mayor of East Lansing, Singh has traveled the world working with organizations such as Habitat For Humanity, promoting community service and global cooperation.
After the presentation, audience members can speak with Singh at an informal reception.
