Thanksgiving spirit lends itself to 5k
By David Barker (Last updated: 11/23/09 8:35pm)The Michigan Running Foundation will sponsor the 2009 Turkeyman Trot, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday in downtown Lansing. All proceeds gained from the event will benefit sports programs in local schools.
There will be free parking available in the Lansing Community College parking garage located on Grand River Avenue.
Winners of every age group will receive gift certificates to Playmakers in Okemos.
