Visiting professor to host discussion
By Ian Johnson (Last updated: 11/02/09 9:46pm)George Washington University professor Jenna Weissman Joselit will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Union Green Room as part of the lecture “Romancing the Stone: America’s Embrace of the Ten Commandments.”
Joselit is part of George Washington’s Jewish studies program and will explore how the Jewish text has played a role in American culture.
The event is sponsored by the MSU Jewish Studies Program, the Department of History, the Department of Religious Studies and the College of Arts and Letters.
The event is free to the public.
