E.L. Chili Cook-Off set for Sunday

East Lansing will host its Winter Bowl Soup & Chili Cook-Off from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in downtown East Lansing.
In the Ann Street Plaza, activities will include horse and carriage rides, a marshmallow roast and a reindeer petting zoo.
Roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate will be available to purchase for 50 cents.
In the lobby of the East Lansing Marriott at University Place, 300 M.A.C. Ave., attendees can listen to live music.
Children also can hand in holiday wish lists to Santa or get a framed picture with him and Mrs. Claus for $3.
In a heated tent, the chili and soup cook-off will be handing out free samples of their tasty treats for attendees to vote for the favorite. At 4 p.m., the winners will be announced.
