E.L. Tech Center to open art exhibit Sunday

A new art exhibit called Food for Thought, which features work focused on food, will open between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday at the East Lansing Technology Innovation Center, 325 E. Grand River Ave.
The multimedia exhibit, which will be open from December to Feb. 5, will include paintings, fiber arts and 3-D collages. The opening reception is free and open to the public and will offer refreshments to attendees.
A canned food drive also will be hosted and visitors who bring a can of food will be able to decorate an empty can.
