Six MSU football players have been arraigned in relation to a Nov. 22 assault at Rather Hall.
Sophomore wide receiver B.J Cunningham, junior wide receiver Mark Dell, redshirt freshman linebacker Jamiihr Williams and junior offensive lineman J’Michael Deane were arraigned earlier this week at East Lansing’s 54-B District Court on one count of conspiracy to commit assault and battery and one count of assault and battery.
Sophomore running backs Glenn Winston and Ashton Leggett were arraigned on one count of conspiracy to commit assault and battery and two counts of assault and battery.
Three other players charged in the Rather Hall altercation, sophomore wide receivers Fred Smith and Chris L. Rucker, and junior safety Roderick Jenrette, still have outstanding warrants, a clerk in the 54-B District Court said.
According to court records, all of the players pleaded not guilty to the charges. Deane, Winston, Cunningham, Dell and Williams are scheduled for a Jan. 14 pretrial conference. Leggett’s is scheduled for Jan 13.
MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said the investigation is still ongoing and police are still interviewing suspect.

Curse of Perles

I’m guessing these ugly thug incidences would not have occurred had MSU hired Brian Kelly three years ago.
We can thank George Perles in part for making sure we didn’t hire Kelly.
Instead the football program continues to be a black eye on the university as it was when Perles was in charge. All we’re missing now is steroids.

Curse of perles, you are a moron.
oh dantonio

Its all Dantonio’s fault.
If only he had kept the spread offense.
You can’t group of these young men together so close on the field. It makes em go crazy! Just look what happened.
But that is what big ten football is all about. Building toughness you see, and these kids, they just wanted to prove to Dantonio that they were tough. They CAN run it up the middle, can’t you see that Coach D?
If only we had hired Brian Kelly, then he could have ran all over Ohio State, Penn State, and Iowa. I mean Kelly did run over Pitt, W. Virginia, and err………. Syracue. The Big East certainly is a tough conference, thats all I know.
Every year gets worse

Every year their has been an assault since Dantonio has arrived as HC and each has progressively been worse.
Do his players learn?
Kelly is a rat

Yeah lets bring in a coach that left a team twice right before a bowl game, one of the games he actually played aginst the team he just left. Oh…how badly I wanted CMU to win that year. Anywhoo at least Dantonio isn’t taking any crap from these guys, you hear too often how the coaches try to hide it or undo the punishments (see the guy from Oregon)
Did anyone else hear that Kelly’s house got egged after he finked again?
