MSU group set to host fundraiser

La Casa, an MSU student group, will be holding a fundraiser all day Friday at Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern, 3950 E. Grand River Ave., in Howell. Bennigan’s will donate 20 percent of all sales to the group. La Casa supports an academic environment for students who are interested in learning about Spanish and Latin American culture.
Candy Jones-Guerin, the marketing and community relations director for La Casa, said all of the funds raised will be used to support La Casa’s domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse programs.
Supporters of the group must have a La Casa flier for 20 percent of their bill to be donated to the group. For more information or a copy of the flier, visit lacasa1.org.
