Student punches roommate, receives MIP
A 19-year-old male MSU student sustained minor injuries early Sunday morning after an altercation with his roommate in Wonders Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim said his roommate, a 20-year-old male MSU student, had gone out for the evening. At about 5:30 a.m., the suspect urinated on the floor. The victim asked the suspect to clean it up, then the suspect punched the victim in the face, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The East Lansing Fire Department responded and the suspect was cited with for minor in possession.
The victim is not pressing charges, McGlothian-Taylor said.

Yeah, “Drunk Guy” needs to do more than apologize. Try not being a “friend” any more to the one you beat up. And yes, you aren’t his roommate…which is even worse because he let you come visit and stay with him for the weekend and this is how nice a friend you are. Try staying away from the MSU campus to at least help the stats on crime on that campus. Again, another outsider coming to campus and causing an issue.

The fire department was called, because they are tied into the paramedics…which is what the MSU student needed cause “Drunk Guy” (non-MSU student) actually did a bit more than punch the “friend” in the face. Like blood…and a choke-hold..and even the police came with tazers in hand when they went into the room to pull the jerk out.

I like to make light of some of these Police Briefs, but from what I just read, this isn’t something to laugh about. I hope you really try to change your behavior and think in the future. I think in the meantime you owe someone a MAJOR APOLOGY and one that is heartfelt.
