Richard Foster was named the W.K Kellogg Professor in Food, Society and Sustainability at MSU, a position that became effective Jan. 1.
Foster’s new position in the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, or CANR, includes research, curriculum development and teaching responsibilities.
In his past, Foster has received honors such as the Kellogg Fellows Leadership Alliance Spirit of Leadership Award and the CANR Honorary Alumnus Award.
Foster’s work has helped found many programs at MSU, including the Land Policy Institute, the Student Organic Farm and the Great Lakes Leadership Academy.
