16-year-old reports being hit by vehicle

A 16-year-old girl said she was hit by a vehicle after a 28-year-old Lansing woman’s vehicle ran into her Sunday in a parking lot, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The girl said she was in the passenger seat of her aunt’s car while they were waiting for traffic to clear in Lot 66-A.

She exited the passenger side and moved behind the vehicle to stop traffic. When she moved behind the vehicle the Lansing woman’s car struck the girl, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The girl said she is pressing charges, McGlothian-Taylor said.
