Student reports laptop, backpack stolen
An 18-year-old female MSU student reported her laptop and backpack stolen from the Clara Bell Smith Center on April 13 after she left it unattended on a table, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student left her laptop and bag on a table in a lab while she went to the other room. The laptop was valued at $2,000, and inside the bag was a cell phone valued at $250, an iPod valued at $250, a wristlet purse valued at $50, $25 in cash, various IDs and keys, McGlothian-Taylor said.
There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.

If only they read the Police Briefs, they would know….
1.Not to leave their items “Unattended”.
2.To always “Lock” their items up and to “Lock” their Dorm Room door and to “Lock” their car doors. SIGH….
