Student reports wristlet stolen from dorm
A 21-year-old female MSU student said her wristlet was stolen April 18 after she left her dorm room unlocked, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
She said the student left the wristlet on her dresser in her Holmes Hall room. She left the room unattended with the door open while she went downstairs for an hour. When she came back, the wristlet was gone, which had her student ID, $3 in cash and keys in it.
The ID is valued at $20 and the keys are valued at $3, McGlothian-Taylor said.
There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.

Unlocked is one thing, leaving your door OPEN is a whole different level of stupidity. She’s lucky her wristlet is all they took. How do people with this little common sense keep getting into MSU and showing up on the police briefs?!

This young woman got a ‘free pass’ this time, for sure! I hope that she learned Jason B.‘s LESSON: TO LOCK her Dorm Room Door, in the future. (ONE Free Pass Per customer, that is if you are the LUCKY one, haha:)

Rae, to be fair I lived in a dorm when I was 21-22 and a senior, but I was also an RA.
