MSU’s annual Garden Day will take place Friday.
The day will feature a variety of 12 garden workshops, lunch, speakers and self-guided tours of the gardens.

The day will feature a variety of 12 garden workshops, lunch, speakers and self-guided tours of the gardens.
Included in the gardens tour are the MSU Horticulture Gardens, C.E. Lewis Landscape Arboretum and Michigan 4-H Children’s Garden. Interested parties can register online beforehand or upon arrival at Wharton Center at 8 a.m.
The day’s events will run from 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m.
Some of the featured workshops include identifying weeds and plants in the garden, as well as an educational overview of beneficial insects in your garden.
The day ends with a special presentation from Art Cameron, director of the MSU Horticulture Gardens.
