Couch, car catch fire in apparent arson

The East Lansing Fire Department responded to an apparent arson after a couch and a car caught fire near a dumpster behind the former Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house.
At about 1:40 a.m. Saturday, a fire was reported near a dumpster between Collingwood Drive and Orchard Street. Police and firefighters at the scene said the fire likely started from a burning couch and spread to a nearby car.
By about 1:55 a.m., firefighters had extinguished the fire.

Seriously, can’t people grow up. Burning a couch? Come on now. I know you’re 18 and you’re out of mommy and daddy’s house finally, but if you’re gonna keep saying “I’m not a kid, I’m an adult” then start acting like one.
