MSU to host Society of Actuaries University Outreach panel

The Society of Actuaries, or SOA, will be at MSU on Oct. 6 for a panel discussion with students in Wells Hall. The discussion runs from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in room B119.
At the discussion, students will be able to hear from the panel of actuaries as well as SOA staff to get tips and information on topics such as schooling, internships and exam experiences.
MSU began offering its first actuarial science degree program in the summer 2011 semester.
The SOA University Outreach program has visited more than 30 schools around the world since 2008.
