An 18-year-old female student reported her bike was stolen between 11:10 a.m. Aug. 28 and 10 a.m. Aug. 29, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The bike is a six-speed women’s salmon-pink Schwinn World, valued at $449.99, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The bike was locked to a rack using a cable lock looped through the front tire. The lock, valued at $21.99, also allegedly was stolen.

There are three clips on the handle bars to attach a basket.

The bike is not registered with the MSU Police Department.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
