Community Music School invites public to play

October 4, 2011

Teenagers and adults of all levels of musical experience are invited to Together … Let’s Jam, a music event sponsored by the Capital Area Down Syndrome Association.

This event will allow individuals interested in a variety of aspects of music, such as singing, creating rhythm and composition. Together … Let’s Jam will be held from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the MSU Community Music School, 814 Timberlane St.

The night will include music activities, such as Rock ‘N’ Roll Combo, in which individuals play instruments and sing rock ‘n’ roll songs; This Mike’s For You, where participants sing together and pass the microphone around the room; and We’ve Got Talent, which allows individual attendees to perform for the rest of the group.

No prior training is required and the cost is free.
