RHA works to improve condom accessibility, fix movie office problems

The Residence Halls Association, or RHA, continues to work toward fixing the campus movie offices, and new computers will be available next week to aid the group with movie rentals.
RHA Director of Movie Offices Justin Love said new laptops will be available by Feb. 8, but added he does not know when the movie offices will be open.
Love said the offices should not be opened until they have a working computer system.
“It’s pointless to throw money down the drain,” he said.
RHA Director of Health and Safety Zachary DeRade also spoke about how to improve accessibility to condoms through the Condom Connection. DeRade said he is considering making condoms more available at neighborhood engagement centers, residence hall front desks or dispensers in bathrooms.
He said condoms could be obtained through a scanner system in a bathroom dispenser, but cost comes with that.
Potential renovations to the Landon Hall cafeteria were also discussed at the meetings. Brody Square chef Joe Murphy said renovations to the cafeteria could begin in about two and a half years, but no date has been confirmed.
