Two men wanted by by the Trenton, N.J., Police Department and the Mercer County, N.J. Sheriff’s Department for charges including armed home invasion and aggravated assault were arrested Feb. 7 at Chandler Crossings, according to the U.S. Marshal Service.
Daryl Smith, 20, and Cedric Flippin, 21, have been accused of shooting two people multiple times during an armed home invasion in Mercer County, N.J. Jan. 20, 2012. The condition of the victims is unknown.
The men were staying with an associate in the 1600 block of Chandler Crossings. They were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Michigan State Police Fugitive Task Force.
The men are being housed at Clinton County Jail in St. Johns, Mich. and are awaiting extradition to New Jersey for the charges.
