The Taste of East Lansing festival will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday at Parking Lot 1 off of Albert Avenue in the Ann Street Plaza.
The event will be hosted by the Community Relations Coalition and will feature a silent auction, live music, raffle and children’s activities.
Local East Lansing restaurants, including Noodles & Company, Menna’s Joint, Swagath Indian Cuisine and Harper’s Restaurant and Brewpub will be serving samples of their food at the event.
Tickets for food samples will cost $2, and each serving will cost a maximum of two tickets.
Sparty also is scheduled to be at the event, along with music groups Bard Owls and Capital City Groove.
Other activities at the event include a canine demonstration by the East Lansing Police Department and fire truck tours from the East Lansing Fire Department.
