Backpack scooter offers compact, versatile transportation
As snow and ice crowd the sidewalks at Michigan State, students are finding it more and more difficult to get to and from class. The streets and walkways are void of longboards, bicycles and the occasional scooter. But by the time the snow and ice melts, students could be seen on Gustavo Brenck’s newest creation: the backpack scooter.
gustavo-brenck.html. With a foldable design, the backpack scooter allows the casual commuter to strap his vehicle to his back for the ultimate versatility. No longer will students have to leave their mode of transportation on the streets. These scooters can be kept under seats or left pretty much anywhere since the transportation collapses into a backpack. This futuristic design is a definitively new concept and isn’t likely to catch on, but don’t be surprised if you see people rocking them on the streets of East Lansing as the snow melts and sidewalks clear.
