Upcoming release of 'Grand Theft Auto 4' criticized for killing
According to the hype of some members of the media, the world will be ending in less than a week.
Claws come out in 'The Paper'
“The Paper” is MTV’s next pseudo-reality phenomenon.
Cypress Bay High School’s student newspaper, The Circuit, is distributed monthly to its student body in Weston, Fla. But that’s not to say the process goes smoothly.
During the show’s premier episode Monday, classroom politics were the theme of the day. Amanda, the copy editor, pushed her newspaper leadership on the rest of the staff in the time leading up to editor-in-chief elections.
But clubs editor Giana, business manager Adam and sports editor Alex all challenged Amanda in the power struggle.
On the day of adviser Mrs. Weiss’ announcement of next year’s positions, no one is more excited than Amanda, who received her throne of duty.
So she thinks.
Like truly mature high school students, the Circuit staff decides to disregard Amanda’s role, ignoring her as both the gloating editor and fellow classmate.
Setting the editor-in-chief drama aside, the show will play host to all other kinds of tension simply based on the cast. The paper’s staff includes more than 50 pre-collegiate teens, living off their parents and hoping to make enough of an impact to put on their college applications.
As the series unfolds, there will certainly be plenty of drama in the newsroom.

Replace “pre-collegiate teens” with college students and “college” with job applications, and you’ll basically get the state news.
On a psychoanalytic level, this piece is a form of self-gratification. Stop it. Journalistic masturbation is disgusting.

Journalistic masturbation? Do people like you go stalking websites, writing opinionated, cynical responses with stupid phrases like journalistic masturbation to try to make yourselves feel superior?
If noone cared, then noone would be reading this post, and yours would be irrelevant. Why bother?
