Lunch with Kardashians not worth $10,000

By: Allison Bush Posted: 06/05/08 8:58pm

“My sisters Khloe and Kourtney and I want to have lunch with you!”

This is how Kim Kardashian begins her description of a day with the Kardashian sisters that people can bid on at eBay.com.
I just don’t really understand who would bid on this.

First of all, 30 percent of the proceeds are going to the Dream Foundation, an organization that grants wishes to terminally ill adults.

I guess it’s nice that they’re donating some of the money, but considering the sisters aren’t paying for the winner’s airfare or accommodations, one would think they could give a little more than 30 percent to charity.

What could they need so bad that’s prompting them to auction themselves off on eBay.com, anyway? Last time I checked, they seemed to be pretty well off.

Also, who could possibly like the Kardashian sisters that much? The bidding, which ends Sunday, is currently at $8,100. Aside from their reality show, which few people seem to know about, and debuting in a sex tape scandal, they really haven’t done much.

Or, at least, anything worth spending around $10,000 for a few hours with them.

To me, the thought of bidding on something like this seems pretty degrading.
