Welcome to the newest addition of the State News blogosphere, the football blog.

Here it’s MSU football all the time.

Unlike the other blogs on The State News Web site, this blog will be entirely dedicated to the MSU football team.

Our goal is to update this space daily with tidbits about your favorite MSU players, inside information from head coach Mark Dantonio’s weekly Tuesday press conference and other breaking news.

We hope to bring you closer to your football team by giving you the news you couldn’t otherwise get from the newspaper. Not everything that comes out of Dantonio’s press conference makes the newspaper. That’s just the way it is. There’s not enough space for everything.

The Internet, however, has no limit.

While there will be big news written about in this blog, smaller issues also will be discussed.

Because no matter what, it’s all about MSU football.

Check back Tuesday afternoon after Dantonio’s 11:30 a.m. press conference for the blog’s first update.

So its after 11:30, where is the blog?

P.S. State goes 9-3 this year (losing @PSU, V. Osu, V. Wisco) beating Cal, then goes to the Outback bowl and beats Auburn to finish 10-3.
