I think you’re way off base. I am a Shamrock fan and i’ll be the first to admit that he really should think about retiring. However, I think you’ve got WAY too much confidence in this sorry excuse for a poster boy “Kimbo Slice”. He’s got NO ground game. He’s got NO submissions. He’s got NO talent other than standing up and throwing Sunday Punches. For the early years of MMA, that might have worked. He’s been spoon fed all his opponents. 3 of them big names, but yes… has-beens. What better way to take a guy who’s self promoted himself over the internet and feed him washed up big names. Then have him train with big names and make him our star. I wanted to VOMIT when he was the main event over Robby Lawler. He’s a scrub sorry excuse of a fighter fighting a British no name on a losing streak… and he’s the Main Event?! LOLOL! I’ve got this fight going to Shamrock by submission. Hopefully breaking this piece of s***s leg and bringing me the MASSIVE amount of joy of watching him cry on live television! Mark my words, Kimbo WILL lose!

Accessdenied: I like how you spent all that time tearing down Slice, but you didn’t spend any time on Shamrock. The guy is 2-8 in his last ten. His last win was against KIMO. The guy couldn’t get Robert Berry to the ground to save his life, and you think he’s going to submit Kimbo? The only way he submits Kimbo is if Kimbo somehow falls on the ground, and the glass chin that Shamrock owns doesn’t shatter on the way down. Kimbo by first round KTFO.

Since much of the basis for your opinions are based on numbers, its ironic you can put so much faith in a 4-0 record. Funny really.

Shamrock is an MMA legend. Slice is a newcomer. slice will probably knock Ken out in the first round. I hope Ken gets him to the ground and at least makes a good fight of it.
I also hope everyone cheers Ken after the fight, no matter what.
Ken helped make MMA what it is today, and it hasn’t been easy.

Elite XC has made a poor choice trying to save their promotion.Ken was a great fighter over 10 years ago. They are using his name to draw casual fans to buy tickets.Any real fan knows Shamrock should only be a trainer not a fighter at this point of his life. Lets hope this freak does not tarnish MMA.

I think the talent Ken has seen far surpasses Kimbo; and even as Garven put Ken as a “has been,” this could be an entertaining event. I hope so since I think the future of the Elite XC depends on a Kimbo victory.

The point some of you idiots cannot fathom is that a 4-0 record is no basis for stating a man is unbeatable, in any pro fight. I am not the one that needs to defend such a ludicrous assertion, i’m only pointing out its obvious flaws. I’ve seen this in boxing way to much, yet still the matchmakers can manipulate people to believe a guy is untouchable. But at least in boxing they get the record up to 25-0. This man is in the low single digits and they already have you idiots drinking the koolaid.

The only point I make is that stupid, fallible human beings such as yourselves have no basis to make absolute conclusions in any fight. It doesnt hurt to turn the needle back a bit and speak the truth: You always have a chance in MMA, and it has been proven over and over again. Yet go ahead and continue to hop along whatever bandwagon is in front of you.

This is why guys that look and write like Matt Bishop should never be given the right to write about sports such as mixed martial arts. You probably just got your degree with in the last 3-4 years, couldn’t figure out a topic to write about, then chose the fastest growing sport in the world to base your ignorant opinons on. Take it from a 12+ year fan, your no sports writer and have no buisness writing about field hockey let alone a sport like MMA. Go home, write a comic book or something and stay away from the big boy toys and big boy sports like the one you have chosen to butcher with your stupidity and lack of judgement in bout winners. SHEESH, people like you make me sick and I dare you to comment back.

	Yours Truley,
