Spartans to march West

The No. 5 seed MSU men’s basketball team will start its march to the Final Four in Indianapolis against No. 12 seed New Mexico State at 7:20 p.m. Friday at Spokane, Wash. The Spartans or the Aggies will face the winner of the first round match between No. 4 seed Maryland and No. 13 seed Houston on Sunday. Read more »

US Census important for funding

The 2010 Census will arrive in mailboxes as soon as Monday and city officials urge students to mark their East Lansing address. The survey is 10 questions and must be mailed back by April 1. The Census is a major source of funding for the next 10 years. Read more »
Fraternity to fight approved apartments

The East Lansing Planning Commission approved a request Wednesday to convert Lambda Chi Alpha’s house into an apartment complex. Members of the MSU chapter of the fraternity said they plan to continue fighting the proposal and make their case to East Lansing City Council. Read more »
